We Are All Different

Our Mission
By serving and bridging LGBTIQ+ communities, LORRA is committed to enhancing their mental health and quality of life and promoting family harmony and social inclusiveness, with a focus on the needs of the Chinese-speaking community in Canada.

Our Value
All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights.

Our Goal

LORRA is devoted to enhancing, empowering and connecting LGBTIQ+ communities and their parents and family members from Canada and abroad. To accomplish our missions, we facilitate the following:

Life stories sharing:

Members of the LGBTIQ+ communities and their fellows are invited to tell their inspiring, real-life stories online and offline to connect LGBTIQ+ communities, families and society.

Community building:

We are dedicated to enhancing mental health, driving family harmony, social diversity, and inclusiveness. To achieve these, we will:
1. Organize "Parents Together" gatherings and gender studies workshops regularly.
2. Collaborate with the government, non-profit making organizations, private institutes, and religious groups to share with the public gender knowledge and the latest updates on this subject. We work to remove misconceptions and barriers by leveraging rational, friendly, and effective communication. We engage in advocacy and participation in diversity awareness campaigns of different communities across the city.

Breaking Barriers, Building Bridges Together. No One Deserves to Battle Alone!
